Teacher stamps come in rubber sets to offer custom ink seals and messages at school.

A set of teacher stamps can really enhance the experience you have with your students in a completely new and wonderful way. You’ll be amazed by how a creative stamp set can really improve morale, and even help students learn. All you have to do is find the right stamp set that features the designs that you are looking for. Some teacher stamps allow you to grade papers in a completely new and unique way, while others are great for offering words of encouragement, or just for making every paper seem a little more exciting. You’ll find that there are plenty of different types to choose from, so you’ll never be short of options.

One of the first things that you’ll want to think about, when it comes to your teacher stamps, is exactly what you’ll be using them for. In some cases, you may be looking for an easy grading alternative, so that you can mark off correct and incorrect answers on the fly. This can be a useful method of actually getting your work done more quickly, so that you can give students constructive input with more regularity. Plus it means no more finger cramps while you grade a huge stack of papers all night long.

But if you want to really dress up your grading system, you can also buy teacher stamps that feature fun shapes. These can be anything from stars to smiley faces, and can really dress up the way that the paper looks once it’s returned to the student. You’ll find that the added incentive of earning a dinosaur, or smiley face stamp, will help children and the earlier school grades really feel a sense of accomplishment. This can even help set them up on the path to academic achievement, by helping create that great feeling from a job well done, as they learn in your classroom. Plus you’ll find that these types of teacher stamps come in literally all different sizes and styles, so you can always find exactly what you want to dress up your papers in the right way.

But another consideration you’ll need to make, is the type of ink that you use. The teacher stamps that you buy are really only half of the whole, and you can’t very well put a stamp to paper with no ink. For that reason, you’ll want to purchase ink of all different exciting colors, so that you can really titillate your students. Or you can simply develop a color coded grading system that allows them to instantly see how their paper was graded. Different colors of ink afford you all sorts of opportunities for really dressing up every page, and you should consider customizing your stamps during every use.

You can easily find teacher stamps at most arts and crafts stores, as they are fairly common items. By doing a little searching you can find all sorts of great stamps that are fun for you the teacher, and even any of your students, to use in all sorts of different great ways.

Christmas rubber stamps are a fun form of holiday craft for your Xmas tree or other accessories.

Using holiday stamps is a great way to add a different touch to your correspondence that both friends and family will greatly appreciate. Whether you’re customizing a card, or an envelope, or simply coming up with a great art project for the kids, Christmas rubber stamps can really take you to a different level. Plus you’ll be amazed by the different pictures and shapes that you can find, to really customize your cards in a completely different way. All you have to do, is seek out the perfect Christmas rubber stamps for your projects.

There are a variety of different ways that Christmas rubber stamps can be used, because of their unique composition. Typically they feature thick rubber bottoms that feature an engraved picture, symbol, or even phrase that has something to do with Christmas. That rubber bottom is attached to a wooden, or sometimes plastic handle, which can then be used to dunk the rubber into ink. Once ink has been applied, you simply have to press your stamp down onto practically any surface, and a perfect impression of the carved image will be left. This can be perfect for dressing up cards, or even putting a creative touch on a picture frame.

One of the main things that you’ll want to think about, are the Christmas rubber stamps that you would like to use the most. This is important, as there are a variety of different types of stamps, and the kind that you choose is important. There will be classic Christmas rubber stamps designs like pictures of reindeer or Santa Claus, and you can even find candy canes and other fun shapes. But you can also get stamps that say Merry Christmas, or that come with other festive greetings. This way you can find the perfect stamp for any project that you may have in mind, so that you can dress up any holiday surface.

Of course you will also need ink, and you’ll want a variety of different colors to give you plenty of options to work with. But when it comes to some Christmas rubber stamps, you may also want to consider using paint instead, so that you can create a multi color impression. Ink is great for standard stamp projects, but painting can be an effective way to make an impression that features a lot of vivid color. This way you can alternate between the white of Santa’s beard, and the red of his hat. Imagine the great stamps you can make on any envelope using paint of all different kinds to stamp your items in great new ways.

You can usually find festive supplies like Christmas rubber stamps at almost any department store. Anywhere from Walmart to Target usually has several options, especially during the holiday season. You should be able to find the perfect stamps to make dressing up your holiday correspondence a fun project. Plus it allows the kids to get involved, and everyone will appreciate the effort they’ve put in with their Christmas rubber stamps.

Alphabet stamps typically come in a rubber letter set for kids, but also in foam, metal, and wood.

In grade school I used to be fascinated by the happy face or star my teacher had stamped on my page in red or blue ink. As an adult, a stamp was used for practical reason in the office. Today, they have gone beyond the classroom and are used for many different applications in various designs like shapes, animals, abstract, numbers and letters of the alphabet. Alphabet stamps are great for personalizing any stamping projects with words, names or phrases. They are usually sold in sets and some will come with extra characters like punctuation marks.

Traditionally, rubber alphabet stamps were mounted on a wood block but you can buy them mounted on clear acrylic, which makes alphabet stamp placement a whole lot easier. The ability to see through the mount will help you place the letters or characters in a straight line. Un-mountable stamps are also handy because they can be removed for easy cleaning and take up less storage as one mount can be used for numerous stamps.

Alphabet stamps come in various sizes from tiny lowercase to large, bold uppercase. The fancy look of a calligraphy or script alphabet stamp will add a little flair to your projects. These fonts will give the impression of handwriting and are a little more difficult to place then bold, basic fonts. They are best spaced further apart in order to make them easier to read. Bold stamps are a better choice where clear text is needed such as scrapbooking or embossing on invitations. Try to avoid embossing any script or calligraphy fonts as they will just run together and end up blurred.

Use alphabet stamps as a non-assuming tool to help your child learn, especially those children who are struggling in school or tend to resist the traditional method of teaching. Give your child a head start in reading and writing by using alphabet stamps to teach them the letters of the alphabet and words by making it a fun activity such as craft time. Have your child stamp letters on to paper and then sound them out. Add shapes and have them combine the letters that make up the word. Start small children off by spelling basic words like dog and cat or their own name.

Alphabet stamps and animal stamps are great for decorating a toddler or baby’s room. Choose the appropriate size in relation to the size of your child’s room. Once you have picked your theme and bought the stamps, choose a base color such as white to paint the room then one or two other primary or pastels to use for the stamps. After painting the base, have your child help you decorate with the alphabet stamps. Add their hand prints for a personal touch! If painting sounds like too big of a job, by the paper you can get in a roll and make banners to put around the room using the same idea as mentioned here. Get creative and get your child involved too.

Alphabet cookie cutters offer a fun way to bake personalized cookies.

Who doesn’t love cookies, especially the decorated ones! Everyone, kids and adults alike love a freshly baked decorated sugar cookie cut out into shapes and nowadays you can find cutters in any shape imaginable. Cutters sold in most stores made of plastic, metal or copper and aren’t just for cookies anymore. Alphabet cookie cutters can be used as a teaching tool for children.

A little one on one time with child and parent can become a learning experience. Get your child to help you make a simple sugar cookie recipe then roll the dough and let them cut out their own shapes. Let them cut out the letters in their name to get a new learner started. Your child will be exposed to the alphabet while making the cookies and again when it’s time to eat them. Make it even more interesting by adding color to the cookie dough when mixing.

If your child already knows the alphabet then practice spelling out entire words with the cookies. You don’t have to stick to cookie dough, the same ideas work for salt dough and play dough. It might be a good idea to get a separate set of plastic alphabet cookie cutters for play dough unless it’s the kind you make yourself with baking ingredients. Pick up a few shape cutters as well such as animals and geometric shapes, bake the letters for each shape and use them together to teach about letters, words and shapes!

When you buy alphabet cookie cutters make sure the top edge is rolled so that it’s more comfortable to hold onto and the cutting edge feels sharp. Dull cookie cutters will only be a frustration and I find plastic sometimes doesn’t cut as good as metal unless the edge is very sharp. Steel alphabet cookie cutters are a great choice because they won’t rust like aluminum. You can combat rusting by making sure you dry them thoroughly right after washing but before putting them away.

Alphabet cookie cutters can be bought in lower and uppercase but make sure to look carefully at the way it’s made before you buy them. Cutters that are too small or thin will result in cookies that are easy to break or they will be tricky to ice. A single letter will run you about $1.00 to $2.00 depending on the material they are made of. It might be a better idea to get a complete set of 26 letters which costs around $25.00.

Alphabet cookie cutters also make great wedding shower gifts or wedding party favors. Beau-coup.com sells the word “LOVE” in sets for $1.75, completely wrapped and tagged with a thank you card. They suggest that you slip in your favorite sugar cookie recipe for your guests as well. What a great idea!

Your favorite department store will sell alphabet cookie cutters and if not, you are sure to find them online. The Cookie Cutter Shop carries 700 different varieties including the alphabet, which cost $1.95 each. They have a 26- piece tin of mini alphabet cookie cutters. Perfect for tiny hands!

Custom rubber stamps can be made personalized for you, whether it be a logo, signature, return address, or more.

Rubber stamps have really come a long way. At one time, only pre made stamps were available and you had to use an ink pad with them. Now, stamps can be found in a multitude of shapes, sizes and styles and you can even order custom rubber stamps for personal or business use. They are available in the traditional rubber stamp, self inking and handy pre-inked models.

Pre-inked custom rubber stamps store the ink in the dye and self inking stamps will have a built in stamp pad which can usually be refilled. This makes them more economical than pre-inked which will only make as many impressions as is determined at time of manufacturing. Traditional rubber custom made stamps are the cheapest of the three as you can use a stamp pad. The pad will last you an eternity as long as you don’t let it dry out by leaving it open. The only drawback to the non-inked stamp is that you have to make sure to use even pressure when inking to get a good imprint whereas the self and pre-inked will create fairly clean lines.

The popularity of scrapbooking has made it possible to find almost any style of rubber stamp. With each style you can create beautiful works of art, each page made unique by the application of a different stamp. Custom rubber stamps can be made to personalize your pages even more. Create theme pages by using a single custom stamp or grouping them together based on the theme of the pictures. Use wedged rubber stamps to decorate the pages corners.

Homemade wedding invitations are another great use for rubber stamps. Professionally printed invitations tend to all be relatively the same, but invitations personalized by the bride and groom will add a very special touch. Choose a stamp design you wan to decorate the invitation card stock and a colorful ink pad of a preferred color. Dip the rubber stamp in ink then stamp the design onto the card stock quickly sprinkle with embossing powder and shake off excess. Heat gently to create a smooth, glossy finish designed in the chosen shape.

Make adding your return address to personal or business mail a snap with custom made address stamps. They’re a very practical investment and can add a personal or professional touch to envelopes and packages. Custom logos or small pictures like a house, snowflake, flower or animal can be placed next to the text. A custom rubber stamp may seem like it’s a bit costly but custom labels are far more expensive and much more tedious.

For acrylic un-mounted rubber stamps visit the Stamp-n-Craft website. The mounts come in various sizes and small ones cost around $3.00, or wood mounts are cheaper at $1.00. Very inexpensive considering you only need to buy a few sized mounts to use with many different stamps. They have mount sets as well which will save you a bit compared to buying them individually. Stampxpress.com sells custom rubber stamps and self inking for $8.99 and up with up to six lines of text allowed. Great for stamping your return addresses on mail! The possibilities are endless and the great thing about a rubber stamps they will nearly last you a lifetime.

Return address stamps in rubber custom form streamline the process of sending mail.

Every day millions of mail pieces and parcels are sent through the postal system. A return address is put on the pieces to ensure that any incorrectly addressed or undeliverable parcels and envelopes make it back to the sender. The tedious task of hand writing your personal or business address on each of them can be spared by using return address stamps. Personalized labels can be use as well but they tend to be costly. A stamp would be the better choice as they make multiple impressions for just pennies. Personalize the address stamp with your name, address, phone number and any logo you may want, custom made or pre-designed by the manufacturer.

Return address stamps are more economical in that you can use the stamp over and over again, limited only by the life of the ink in them or on a stamp pad. Address labels have to be repeatedly special ordered and the pre-glued kind is very expensive. Chances are if you are putting a business name, address and company logo on them, there won’t be room on a small label. Address stamps can be bought or custom made in nearly any size.

Self inking return address stamps eliminate the use of a stamp pad which can be messy. They come in two styles, pre-inked and refillable. A good quality self inking stamp will get you thousands of impressions but eventually run out and need replacing. They are more practical for home use then business as the volume of usage will be lower and the stamp will most likely last you years. Businesses or home businesses would be better off with a refillable return address stamp. A personal, 3-line stamp is great for home use and some are small enough to be carried in a briefcase or purse. You can get one online for less than $5.00 at Vista Print. For endless fancy address stamps take a look at the selection at Stampit.com, they sell really neat two color self inking stamps.

Addressstamp.com carries durable wood mount rubber address return stamps in a large variety of brands, sizes and colors starting at $5.00 for 3 lines, all the way up to $20.00 for 10 lines. These stamps tend to be the most economical due to the use of a stamp pad and the handle makes them easy to grip. You can also get them custom made.

Businesses benefit from the use of address stamps as they are a huge time saver and it’s easy to evenly stamp the address into the corner of business correspondence. Large volumes of mail would be extremely monotonous to do by hand. Your company’s logo can be incorporated into the stamp when custom ordered, creating an eye catching brand.

Return address stamps can also be used to stamp the top of invoices and order forms, indicating where customers can contact you, place orders or remit payment. Competition is fierce and companies are looking for new ways to stand out amongst the crowd. A custom made return address stamp with company logo will present a professional image to existing and potential customers. Have two stamps on hand, one for envelopes and a larger one for parcels.

Personalized postage stamps offer a personal and customized means of sending mail.

Personalized postage stamps come in most of the same denominations as the post office stamps. They are available in basic letter size, postcard, oversized letters and large envelopes, first class and up to 16oz weight, as well as a few different sizes. Small measures about 1.3”x1.8”, medium is 2.1”x1.3” and large at 2.5”x1.5. These measurements can be reversed depending on whether you want a horizontal or vertical stamp.

Whatever you decide to put on your personalized postage stamp will impact the shape needed. You may have no choice but to go with one or the other. Single photos would probably work best on a vertical stamp and anything with a lot of text would work well on a horizontal stamp. If the photo has more than one person or a landscape type picture then horizontal stamps work best. Choose a printer that will let you make the choice and have a selection of larger stamps as you may not be able to put your photo or message on at all if they don’t carry larger sizes. Picture It Postage Stamps has a selection that is twice as big as the stamp most company’s offer, the ability to choose background colors to match your image and a cool feature where you can build your own personalized postage stamp right on their site.

Personalized postage stamps would be perfect for wedding or shower invitations, they can have the name of the happy couple or an engagement photo printed on them or perhaps the wedding’s theme colors. Birth announcements would be spectacular with the new arrival’s photo and birth date. There are even customized postage stamps for twins! Businesses can catch their customer’s attention by putting company logos or advertising message on flyers, brochures, mail pieces or any business communication.

United States personalized postage stamps can be purchased through Stamps.com. The pricing is too vast to list and dependent on how many sheets you buy. Obviously, the more you buy, the cheaper they are. Just for example, as sheet of twenty regular 28 cent postcard stamps will cost $16.99 for one sheet, $15.99 for two to nine sheets and $11.99 for ten to ninety nine sheets. It goes up from there all the way to 250 sheets and anything over you have to ask for special pricing quotes. If you do annual holiday mailings plus a lot of birthday party invitations or business mailings, then purchase the larger range of sheets to save yourself a little money.

Personalized postage stamps can be ordered through your local postal offices or online websites. Canadian customers can order through Canada Post, and multiple country stamps can be purchased through the United Nations Postal Administration at Unstamps.un.org. If you order online, choose a website that has an easy to use customization program that gives you the option to rotate or zoom your image and a good return policy.
